8 training hours – Our American Heart Association Heartsaver® – First Aid CPR AED course teaches how to respond to life-threatening emergencies (heart attack, cardiac arrest, serious bleeding, choke, shock, spinal injury…) and covers injuries or illnesses that are not immediately life threatening (bites, burns, fractures, strains & sprains, asthma, epilepsy…).
AHA® Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED

Intended for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
Course duration: 8 training hours. (full day training)
Course structure: In the Instructor-led format, students participate in video – based lessons and learning stations. Students work with our AHA Instructor to complete the First Aid, CPR and AED skills practice and skills testing. Students also complete a written exam in class.
Pedagogic tools: participant manual, video.
Certification: Participants will be given an American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course completion card after successful completion of training, and valid for 2 years.
