Frequently Asked Questions – First Aid Courses Bangkok Thailand
Do you deliver onsite first aid training outside of Bangkok?
Can you teach in Thai?
We are able to offer training in Thai, as well as in English and French. However, the American Heart Association® training documents and materials are currently only available in English.
Will I receive a certification after having completed my course?
We deliver both local and international certificates. International certificates are issued by the American Heart Association® and recognized all over the world. Local certificates are issued by Bangkok First Aid® and recognized in Thailand. Both certificates are valid for 2 years and have the same course content.
Students who attend the American Heart Association® program (International certificate) will receive a participant manual and a certificate stating the successful completion of the training. The original certificate and the ID certification card are issued a maximum of 10 days after the training date. As well, Bangkok First Aid will keep you informed of updates to procedures and protocols and when to renew your certificate.
Will my certification expire?
Current regulations from the American Heart Association® are that you should take a refresher course every two years. Refresher courses also update you on any changes to protocols.
Maximum of students do you teach per class?
By regulation, we are limited to 20 students per class when we teach international certificate courses and 50 students per class for local certificate courses.
Is there a test?
Yes, students are required to complete a practical test at the end of the training. This helps to ensure the instructors you have understood key concepts and knowledge. All students must also practice the skills taught and show competency.
